What is your sphere of influence in your organization? Based on this, what impact can you have on the implementation of your business plan?

What is your own bias and how could it impact the development or progress of your organization’s development?

What hurdles do you anticipate?

What leadership style(s) will you have to demonstrate? How could you incorporate Servant Leadership? Where do you fall short?

What are your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to your business?

How can you impact and influence others and your future organization to deliver the results you expect?

Explanation / Answer

a.

Sphere of influence refers to the ability of people to get colleagues on board for change initiatives, guiding team members, reducing resistance and encouraging teamwork.

People can use their influencing powers to harness a shared sense of responsibility, effective communication, promote team work, and better decision making.

b.

Bias of a person can include his mistakes while evaluating the performance of employees. Such biasness could lead to improper performance appraisal, awards, and recognition. It would further impact the commitment and motivation level of employees. Hence, ultimately it would negatively impact the organizations productivity.
