Explanation / Answer

There is no better way to understand and better interact with a culture or population you’re not a part off than by knowing that even in our own cultural differences we can all understand each other if we use empathy and have a good set of listening and learning skills. Studying the origin of a population as well as being respectfully curious when interacting with people will help you find patterns and make you realize how different parts of society interact with each other and what roles they play, as well as the many perspectives that should be taken into account. Sociology is at its core, the study of human relationships and structures in a communal setting known as society. One can argue that there is no society without culture, as culture consists of all the common beliefs, behaviors and values a certain group develops, so culture is essential for a society to form. This, as well as the great diversity of these two interlinked concepts we can see in the world and within a single social group, are the reasons why culture and society are essential terms in sociology. They are of a dynamic nature as they are constantly changing and evolving, as they are highly related to human action and evolution. The information provided by the U.S census is essential raw statistical data about the population which offers a starting point to many sociological studies and projects that look for innovative solutions for long existing and arising issues. It also allows for the long-term following of certain characteristics, an essential tool to study progress. The questions, however, are narrow-minded and need a new and more modern and inclusive approach, which will allow getting more relevant, useful and valid data. According to Hunt and Colander, the process of industrialization attracted large amounts of both immigrants and rural populations to certain spots for economic reasons, as the industrial sector needed a lot of workers for mass production. This lead to the urbanization of certain areas as a direct result of the technological change that led to the industrialization in the first place and urban areas will continue to evolve in a close link to how society produces technological change. Technology includes all the tools and methods we use to interact with the environment and so the limits of its development in the future should take the potential dangers to this and to society into account when introducing new technologies to the world.
