In general, managers who diligently complete all six steps of the rational decision making model will make better decisions than those who do not. In theory, fully rational decision makers maximize decisions by choosing the optimal solution. In practice, however, this is often easier said than done. Use the Internet and/or other sources to research a company that is currently facing a significant dilemma. Read at least two articles to study the problem, research potential solutions, and determine how the rational decision-making process can be applied to discuss what should be done. Describe how using the rational decision making process could improve the quality of the decisions being made. Your report should be 1 page in length.

theoritically it is easy to disclose and say that all we are following the strategy while we making decisions, but in implementation, it is always not possible. there will be many problems in practicality to make this decisions. and you asked to provide any one or two examples of live problems or issues of any firms. but there will be ample of problems to any firm, some may disclose them and others may not.
a recent best example is Vokswagon case in US. one of the largest four wheeler manufacturing and selling firm is now in complete problems and in dilemma also. if they did everything in a correct way, then there is no chance to arise these kind of issues. they did mistake and they are not in a position to accept it and rectifiy it.
