Question

Imagine that you work for an entertainment company and have asked an intern to draft an email to employees about a summer dress code. You will allow employees to dress more casually during the warm weather, but you also want to give them clear guidelines on what is and is not acceptable to wear in the office. You receive the draft from the intern, but it needs work.

Revise the following email and send the appropriate email to the staff.

Subject: Summer dress code

Good morning,

Due to the high temperatures our city is facing on summer we have decided to create a temporary dress code, this means that employees can come to with more comfortable cloth to avoid the heat.

You are welcome to wear jeans, and t-shirts but remember this is a place of work and we need to keep professionalism at all times. Ladies please avoid wearing cloth that reveals too much and gentlemen avoid coming to work on cargo shorts.

Thanks for your time
