Question A-
I would not go for a Hormonal therapy because research and survey shows that this has caused a lots of ill effects on the women who have used it. It increases the chances of cancer (Breast), might cause clotting of the blood, can cause occurence of a stroke or any other heart related illness. So I would not recommend estrogen therapy to relieve side effects of menopause. Atleast menopause effects are bearable and not life threatening.
Question B-
Sex is an important part of a marriage or between man and a woman. It brings them together and close enough in every possible way (both physically and emotionally). It is even a demand of a human body at a certain age and needs to be satisfied by the partner. So defects in the body like erectile dysfunction (which we can call as impotency), can very much affect the relationship.
Detriments- It can bring in the psychological discomfort and level of dis-satisfaction between the couple, causing them to end up their relationship. This can affect man's self esteem to be unable to satisfy his partner and leading him to cause blame games or accuse himself, feel depressed or even turn other way round- making him aggressive. Using drugs could break the natural and spontaneous gesture.
Benefits- If the couple understands and tries to deal with the defect, then the drugs could be beneficial, because both would agree and would be willing to take in its use.
