Question
1H NMR
13C NMR
inert compound (insoluble in h2o, naoh,hcl,h2so4)
halide test (no color --> chloride)
non-aromatic
negative test for 2,4 dinitrophenylhydrazine
ir spectrum
Explanation / Answer
There are four peaks in C-13 spectrum
That means there are four C - atoms in chain. Negative dnp test means no carbonyl grp is there. From IR its clear that only C-H grps are present and shows peak near 1500 that could be of N-H. In NMR we have one quartet, one singlet one multiplet and one triplet, but we can never confirm anythn without mass spectra
