A) In H2BO3- the valence electrons are = 2+ 3+18+ 1 = 24

When valence electron is more than 8 than it is divided by 8

So 24÷8 = 3 hence sp2 hybridisation

B) valence electron = 1+ 6 + 6(4) + 1= 32

32÷ 8 = 4 so sp3 hybridisation

C) valence electron = 4+ 3 + 1= 8

8÷ 2 = 4 so sp3 hybridisation

D) valence electron = 4 +3 -1 = 6

6÷2 = 3 so sp2 hybridisation
