Describe three possible routes through which infectious diseases could be introduced into a hospital besides a patient who has an infection. For each route that you identify, describe one possible policy that could be implemented to prevent infections coming in through that route. Explanation / Answer

Three possible routes infectious diseases could be introduced into a hospital.

Poor food processing, visitors, through air

1) They have to check the food before feeding to patients, should maintain high quality of food.

2) Who have visited to the patient, they must be hygienic, then only allow into the patient room

3) They should close the ways to which outside air enter into the hospital we should stop that because so many air born diseases infect through the air, they have to provide pure air then only we can prevent the air born diseases.
