Copying formulae between workbooks

I want to copy formula from one workbook into a series of other workbooks, all of which are set up identically on the worksheets. I want the formula that I paste into the new workbook to pick data from that workbook and not to transfer in data from the original workbook. The formulas that I am selecting are on a first, summary page of the workbook and they pick and sum subtotals from locations on various of the following worksheets. It will take a long time to set up the formulas on each of the 25 workbooks individually. I cannot see a suitable option in the Paste Special menu. I am in Excel 2003??

Hi..

try

Put a single quotation sign in front of the equal sign in the formula to convert it to text. Now copy the formula to other workbooks, and remove the single quotation sign again, to turn it into a true formula again.
