Question A
=============================================
------------------------------
Significance of network:
------------------------------
Networks in practical can have same sizes. Depending on the size of company / organization the network is required.
Hence engineers proposed that IP address space should be divided in different classes in order to meet different requirements.
Each class fixes a boundary between the network prefix and the host within the 32-bit address
------------------------------------
The following are the four classes
------------------------------------
Class A: Network is 8-bit network prefix. Its highest bit is set to 0, and contains a 7-bit network number and a 24-bit host number.
Class B: Network is a 16-bit network prefix; its highest bit order is set to 1-0. It is a 14-bit network number with a 16-bit host number.
Class C: Network is a 24-bit network prefix; it has a 3 bit set to the highest order 1-1-0. It is a 21-bit network number with 8-bit host number.
Class D: Network highest bit order set to 1-1-1-0 it is used to support multicasting.
Class E: Network highest bit order set to 1-1-1-1 which is reserved for experimental use.
------------------------
Advantages of classes
------------------------
* Classes are being helpful to choose the infrastructure.
* Depending on the size of the organization the classe being choosen.
* Each class defines number of networks per network based in network number.
* Each class defines number of addresses per network based in host number.
* Easy to build Private and Public networks using classes.
