How does the nurse speak with the parents and teach using therapeutic communication, and what type of relationship is established? Please cite sources and Reference it
Explanation / Answer
The major reason child are prone to accident causing death, are due to their size, physiology, and behaviour.Due to small size even a minute amount of inhalation or intake of toxic by accident are more vulnerable than adults. And this is same to any environmental hazards. Kids are heavily exposed with even a small amount of toxin or hazardous materials in proportion to their body weight, and have more years of life ahead of them in which they may suffer long-term effects from early exposure. Childs at young age however eat less but compare to body weight average it is quite more than adults so they may experience higher rates of exposure to pathogens and pollutants. The other factors raise chances of infection are typical childhood behaviours, such as crawling and putting objects in the mouth, can also lead to increased risks. They do not know what it is and what could be effect and so in child interest they play even with lethal object which cause death sometime.
The other important reason is that children face higher risks of injuries, including exposure to hazardous chemicals, due to their parents do not gives proper environment to learn and how to adapt growing participation in household chores and work outside of the home. Many school-age children attend schools without sanitation facilities, making them more likely to contract various diseases and less likely to go to school.
Parents teaching plays an important role in this how they behave and how they make children understand the fact and reality of life. Apretns should play role in
Communication is the basic skill and tools that construct relationship between person to person and this is same as in patients and nurses. This is a part of treatment as in physchiatric this communication acts as a medicine to patients to develop a trust in treating person. So a nurse should become an effective communicator, the nurse must be aware of the client's nonverbal as well as verbal messages.
A true patient nurse relationship make patients as well nurse feel safe and respected and there by inner thoughts, emotions, and personal difficulties are revealed and explored. The nurse must demonstrate predictable behavior during each encounter. It is the therapeutic relationship that establishes the foundation for the client to feel understood, to be comfortable discussing problems, to explore ways of appropriately meeting emotional needs, and to develop satisfying relationships.
