Fluorine gains one electron to attain inertgas configuration(Ne) . So it has the highest tendency to acceptelectron. Similarly carbon will attain stable half filledelectronic configuration if it accept one electron . Lithiumwill have fully filled electronic configuration if it acceptone electron .
