I just need a little reassurance on this concept:
I have a salicylic acid-naphthalene mixture and I use diethylether and water as my solvents in an extraction experiment. BeforeI extract, the top layer will be diethyl ether with naphthalene andthe bottom layer will be H20 with salicylic acid, correct? Thankyou!!
