1. a. Starch molecules are stained by iodine (amyloplasts). Iodine stains the starch molecules in blue black or purple colour.

b). Amloplasts contains the stained molecules because starch is stored in amyloplasts.

2). a). Nucleus. We can see the nucleus in the cardiac muscle cells.

b). Cardiac muscle cells are branched.

c). Both skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle cells have striations.
