Please help and explain! Will rate lifesaver!

A lab assistant was given the task to synthesize 2-methylbut-2-ene. She was successful. Given are the links to 3 spectra: the 1H NMR and IR of the organic starting material and the 1H NMR of the major organic product

A) Draw the skeletal structure of the starting material given this IR spectrum of the organic starting material (click spectrum) and given that one of the spectra in part B is the 1H NMR of organic starting material.
B) Match the 1H NMR spectrum with its compound.

C) Fill in the blank with the letter that corresponds to the reagent and reaction conditions she used to synthesize her product. Click reagents for the reagent table.

spectrum 1
spectrum 2

Explanation / Answer

A) starting compound is 2 methyl 2 butanol, CH3-CH(OH)(CH3)-CH2-CH3. since peaks showed at IR at 3400 cm-1 (broad) indicates OH mainly. NMR showed ppm above 5 indicating OH. and remaining skeletal structure matched from NMR. B) spectrum 1 is product i.e 2 methyl 2 butene, spectrum 2 is starting material 2 methyl 2butanol. c) conc H2SO4 /heat.
