This uploaded image is from an organic chemistry chlorination lab- A product was injected into an gas chromatography machine and the below graph is what was derived... the results are suppose to contain 4 peaks I believe which are 1,1 dichlorobutane 1,2 , 1,3 and 1,4 dichlorobutane... we are suppose to from the graph label the peaks A-D and calculate the percent of each substance from the graph - please help and look at my graph and show percent of each sample... I was confused thought I saw 5 peaks and only suppose to be 4 I dunno- please do calculations

there could be another product which is poosible is 2,3 dichloro butane

hence total of 5 compounds and hence 5 peaks

regarding calculation part we need to identify smallest peak and then measure other peaks height with respect to smallest peak so that we get ratios and relative qiunatities
