Choose a personal situation where you were a leader. What type of leader were you? Do you think you were an effective leader? How did having power affect you? Did you enjoy being a leader?

Describe a time when you were a follower. What type of leader was in charge of your group? Were they effective? How did they use their power?

Explanation / Answer

I dont know why this question is potes in chemistry questions but i would still like to answer this :)

With leadership comes great power, and with power comes great responsibility. Power and leadership walk hand in hand. one is incomplete without the other. Power is needed for effective leadership.

I was the leader of my scout camp. I am a kind of leader who believe in the philosophy of working with the fellow man as their friend, and leading them as their mentor. I had the power to punish students. I could have used this power to get back at some people. But instead power gave me modesty, and I felt myself becoming more mature and sensible. Yes, i enjoyed being a leader.

I was a follower during the preparation of christmas in our school. the leader was a robost senior boy. He was very controlling, and a little rude too. But overall he was a good leader. He sometimes used his power to intimadate people and get qork done faster, but it turned out to be very effective.
