Why were the options in a and d inaccurate descriptions of the findings displayed in the figure? (HINT: what is and is not on the y-axis?)
Why was option b an inaccurate desctiption of the findings displayed in the figure? (HINT: what are the 2 independent variables? When the blue bars are compared, which variable is held constant? When the green bars are compared, which variable is held constant?)
Why do the data support the statement in option c?

A You are measuring PFK activity only, not the complete glycolytic pathway.
B In the figure BOTH mice lower their activity, the blue bars indicates that they HAVE the studied gene, but still are lower in the fasted part, so not only the KO mice is lowering.
C Both decrease in activity, so Fasted decrease the PFK activity, BUT as in both states are KO lower, that means that the gene has also an influence in that activity.
D Kind of the same as part A, ATP production is found even in other parts of the glycolytic path way, we are not measuring ATP so we do not know how much is produced
