To build my Personal Computer (PC), I would have to find the right parts that fit my style.
When I build my computer, I am no looking for something high-end, but something easy on the pockets, but it does not last for less than a year. Looking for quality, budget-friendly parts for your PC is essential for what you want to get done. The Computer Processing Unit (CPU) I will choose is the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. "The AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, like the rest of AMD's Zen 2 processors, is built on a 7nm manufacturing node – the smallest in a commercially available CPU. What this means for most people is lower power consumption and much-improved performance at the same time" (Tech Radar, 2019).
It comes with its cooler that keeps the temperature under 80 degrees Celsius. I can purchase this product from multiple sites such as New Egg, Amazon, Best Buy, and even Walmart for the same reduced price of 9.99. This CPU had considerably high reviews from buyers. "Multi-core performance gives you more power in running multiple programs. Compared to single-core performance, Ryzens excel in handling stressful workloads, which is exactly what streaming is about" (Streaming Sentinels, 2020).
For the Motherboard, I will be choosing the Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4. This Motherboard is multi-dimensional while also being user-friendly; "TUF Gaming motherboards are designed to be easy to set up and configure just the way you want, even for first-time builders" (ASUS). This is essential as a first-time PC builder. I need components that are novice-friendly but also will not break the bank. "TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) distills the essential elements of the latest AMD platform and combines them with game-ready features and proven durability.
Engineered with military-grade components, upgraded power solutions, and a comprehensive set of cooling options, these motherboards deliver rock-solid performance with unwavering gaming stability" (ASUS). I can purchase this for 1.92 on Amazon. The Random Access Memory (RAM) that I will be using is the G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory. "Engineered and optimized for full compatibility on the latest AMD Ryzen platforms, Trident Z Neo brings unparalleled memory performance and vibrant RGB lighting to any gaming PC or workstation with latest AMD Ryzen CPUs and AMD DDR4 motherboards" (New Egg). I can purchase this from New Egg for 8.99. For the Operating System (OS), I will be using Microsoft 10 Pro 64-bit. Simultaneously, the difference in price between the PRO and Home is only a couple of dollars. Using the Pro is potentially better because it is more secure when s it comes to protecting data. Since I would primarily be using this PC for streaming purposes, I would like to have more protection.
I will have to put billing information into different sites with streaming, so I do not want that information to be easily accessible to anyone.
