In the real estate profession there's an old saying about what matters when it comes to buying and selling properties: Location, location, location. Basically all this means is that the same property could either increase or decrease in value just based on where it's located.
For this activity, you are going to play the role of a real estate agent. You have a client sitting in your office who has just told you he wants to purchase a piece of property and build a mansion on it. Much to your disappointment, he has informed you that this piece of land is a tiny island in the South Pacific (Ocean). This part of the world is where the infamous Ring of Fire is located. With much anxiety, you decide you can't let your client buy this property in good conscience. There are just too many volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, which are caused by the convergent plate boundary and subduction zones in that part of the world.
Your assignment is to create a PowerPoint presentation that you will use to convince your client why buying property in the Ring of Fire is a bad idea. Follow the guidelines below to complete your assignment and save your homebuyer from financial ruin.

Create a 7-slide PowerPoint presentation.
Slide #1 should be your title slide. Give your presentation a simple title and then include your name beneath it.

Since scientists began collecting data on earthquakes in the 1960s, what have they realized about tectonic plate boundaries?
What is it that causes seismic and volcanic activity along tectonic plate boundaries?
What type of plate boundary exists in the South Pacific Ocean? What other conditions exist here? Hint: Subduction Zones are part of it. Be sure to explain how these boundaries/zones are formed and what happens along these boundaries in regard to geological and seismic activity.
Include an example of a major earthquake or volcanic eruption that has occurred along the plate boundary in this part of the world. A brief description is enough. You are also encouraged to include an image if you can find one.

Ring of Fire is a pretty ominous name. Explain where this name comes from and what the geological reasons are for this nickname.
On your last 2 slides, predict what could happen to your client's mansion if he were to build it on a tiny island in the South Pacific in the middle of the Ring of Fire. Then summarize your presentation with all of the big points.

As mentioned about the property in the island of south pacific,some of the unrevealed features are pointed one by one to show the real face of the island.
Slide 3-Tectonic plate boundaries:-
In earlier 1960's,scientists conducted research based on the tectonic plates in south pacific. They found that these were caused as a result of transform and convergent boundaries which are responsible for sliding of plates over one another thereby causing inconvinience. These are in turn responsible for creating powerful earthquakes and volcanic eruptions which are capable of destroying the living habitats.
Slide 4-Raising of fire:-
Volcanic eruptions are popular in these regions and are said to have the power to destroy an entire length of a forest with its fire. As these are eegular customers of this island,the pretty nick name of this island is Ring of fire.
Slide 5-Earth shakes!
Not only volcanic eruptions ,earthquakes are also responsible for creating problwms in this island. One such strong earthquake is said to have occured at San fransisco due to transform boundary process. Even when there is no earthquake,continuous shifting of boundaries would be present.

Due to these terrible effects many people have vacated the region in turn to save their life. If scenery is important,there are possibilities to loose the valuable life!
