The ambush marketing is a different way of marketing by the company who act as sponsors in conducting live events and performances in the city, town or village. The company pays for the event and instead gets promoted in the same. The advantages of ambush marketing is that it is promoting over a large audience and viewship. The disadvantage is the abundance of money spent in sponsership of the event. The Bavaria Beer's ambush marketing in the World Cup 2010 proved to be a huge mishap in the event. It created a lot of violence with the fans wearing the same color skimpy costume as that of Beer's logo and also trying to trespass without tickets. It sTrue that ambuish marketing could happe intentionally or unintentionally. As a leader it is fine to practice ambush marketing but with proper security and check. There must be no mishandling while performing such a marketing.
