The aim of healthcare wellness program was to reduce health risk for individual by keeping a healthy work environment , maintaining good health, avoiding risk of chronic diseases . Such practises helps to lower down the amount of money investment is done on diseases and as a result money saving can be also done.
It was reported in media by announcing it as a best national health award for healthcare wellness program in US.
The program included both biometrics and technology that is mobile app service for individual which helped members of the program to maintain a good practises and keep a track of their health. This as a result enhance mental strength and positively impacted people.
Population involved in the program were the members of organisation who have to work daily more than 10 to 12 hours and that can effect their health. Around 3000 employees were included in the program.
These set of population have lots of work pressure due to this they do overtime in their office that impact their health and lifestyle alot which increase their risk for health condition.
The idea of maintaining a healthy work environment enhance both mental and physical activity of employees and even reduction in money investment for healthcare disease are observed. The guidelines of these program should be promoted more through media, newspapers, seminar so that more companies can adapt to similar working culture.
