Management Skills-

In the organization, the manager needs to have the management skills for achieving the organizational goal by effective utilization of the resources. The four basic managerial skills are planning, organizing, leading and controlling. These skills are used by the manager for effective working in the organization. These skills help the manager to manage the work in smart manner.

Q - Planning - Establishing objectives and goals for an organization and determining the best ways to accomplish them.

Answer – In an organization, the manager needs to do the adequate planning for the organizational objectives by which we can achieve the organizational goals by achieving all the objectives. Manager to plan and work out the objectives in such a way, that they are in measurable form. The organizational goal which is split into smaller objectives, can be progressed by the team and whose progress can be measured and monitored with respect to the target time line of the objectives. For an auto industry, the objective can be planned out as below

These objectives can be achieved by planning, organizing, leading and controlling mechanism by assigning the resources against each objectives, based on the skill set of team members. Then fascilating the resources to work upon these objectives, help them to work upon these prioritized objectives with focus and keep the monitoring of objective progress on monthly basis with the projects teams.

Answer – This process is to assign the resources to each objective so that they can achieve the required result by completing the objective. The manager needs to review the required skill sets of the resources with respect to the objectives and assign them accordingly, with respect to the timelines. Answer – This process is very critical and helpful for aligning the resources to achieve the require target. So coach and guide is a critical aspect in ensuring that the resources are on the right track. Following ways for leading and guiding are

Answer – This is the most important skill for ensuring that the objective & goals are on target or not. The progress status for each objectives needs to be reviewed and the status needs to be communicates within the organization. For lacking objectives, the required corrective actions needs to plan , so that the progress can be on target and the desired result can be achieved.
