MC4R gene is nothing but a gene where melanocortin 4 receptor a protein is encoded in humans. If in any case any defects in the genes may leads to autosomal dominant obesity or inherited human obesity and as well as genetic environment interactions may play a complex factor in our makeup and life experiences.
1.The envromental factors that may be contribute to the weight gain and health problems are :
a)Less physical activity or inactivity
b) Unhealthy intake of foods mainly fried items, red meats and sugary drinks
c)Less control over the food or unable to control over the appetite
d)Unhealthy life styles suh as more time in watching t.v and intake of jung foods during leisure times
e)Less sleep
f)Less control over the weight
2.As a nursing practitioner in my view the obesity is unavoidable for the Rhy's family why because the environmental factors that interact with defective genes resulting in obesity.Anyway most of the health problems resulting from defective gene can be avoid by modifying the factors that resulting in weight gain.
