When two are in parrallel and one in series

Let 20 ohm and 3 ohm are in parrallel to each other, then

Req1 = 20(3) /( 20+3) =2.6 ohm

Now 2.6 ohm is in series with 10 ohm

Req = 2.6 ohm + 10 ohm = 12.6 ohm ( Answer)

Part B

Let 20 ohm ans 3 ohm are in series to each other

R23 = 20ohm+3ohm=23ohm

Now this 23 ohm will be in parrallel to 10 ohm

Req = 23(10) / 23+10

Req = 6.96 ohm
