I have to write a paragraph for each of the following points. My specific project hypothesis is: If I increase the temperature in water, then sugar will dissolve faster.
1. Describe how you could perform a review of current research on the subject/issue.
2. Do the results of your research review lead you to suspect that your initial hypothesis is correct, or does it suggest that you should modify your initial hypothesis in some way? If so, restate or revise. Are there gaps in the current research that further research/experimentation/observation might fill and shed light on your hypothesis?

The cold water isn't able to dissolve as much sugar as the hot water, but why? Another name for the liquids inside the cups is a 'solution', when this solution can no longer dissolve sugar it becomes a 'saturated solution', this means that sugar starts forming on the bottom of the cup.
The reason the hot water dissolves more is because it has faster-moving molecules which are spread further apart than the molecules in the cold water. With bigger gaps between the molecules in the hot water, more sugar molecules can fit in between.
You can also increase the speed of dissolving the solute by smashing it up. This increases the surface area in contact with the water. once again creating more collisions or contact between the sugar and the water.
