Please answer the following questions and explain how you got the answer. Thanks!

Answer each of the following questions and explain. (a) Is it possible for a charged particle to move through a magnetic field without experiencing a force? (b) Is it possible for a charged particle to be at rest in the simultaneous presence of a magnetic and an electric field? (c) Is it possible for a particl to) Is it possible for a particle in motion to move through the electric and magnetic fields without experiencing a force? (d) What is the net force on a magnetic dipole in a uniform magnetic field

Explanation / Answer

A) yes it is possible. F =qv x B. If velocity is in direction of magnetic field, Force will be zero

B)no, not possible, electric field will exert a force which can not be cancelled by force exerted by magnetic field as magnetic force is in perpendicular direction, not parallel

C)no, not possible, reason same as in b

D)Net force will be zero as the two poles will experience force in opposite direction.
