Here the torque is sum of the force components to the merry go roud times the distance from the center of rotation

Therefore we can radisu as(r) =1.5 m, because the diamter is 3m

Torque acting on the tom ttom = 49cos30*1.5 =63.652N.m

Torque acting on the jerry tjerry =-35.5*sin(10)*1.5 =-52.441N.m
