In the figure above, A through F are REACTANTS, B throgh G are PRODUCTS and E1 to E2 are the ENZYMES rsponsible for the completion of the METABOLIC PATHWAY. In order for G to be synthesised all other parts of the METABOLIC PATHWAY must be present . This means that if any of the REACTANTS, their resulting PRODUCTS or the catalyzing ENZYMES are not present the METABOLIC PATHWAY will not proceed and G will never be synthesised.
