I have no clue where this new number are coming from? forexample 50ft I see no where in the problem that says 50 ft. Also Idon't undesrtand the conversion whatsoever I though that 1ft is30.48 cm and so 200 ft is 6,096 cm. my question is why does it say200ft = 4cm?????? In the graph we do not represent 200 ft in the graphpaper. Thats why we have to assume the scale in the graph as 50 ft =1cm. This is only the assumption scale for our convenience to drawthe graph. Then automatically 200 ft becomes 4cm. Now this 4 cm can berepresented easily in the graph paper.
