Question
I thought the convention would be vector A- vector B= vector A + (- vector B), or 3.00units + (-4.0)units = -1.0 units.but this isn't the same as the answer provided in the solutions manual. I also don't understand how the graph got flipped if vector A is along the positive x-axis and vector B is along the negative Y axis. thanks. I also don't understand how to know which angle I am measuring in order to find the direction of vector addition/subtraction.
