I rate high if I can see what I was supposedto doA long straight rod with length of 2.4m and mass of 16kg issupported by two horses. One horse is located at the far left endof the rod and the other is in the exact middle of the rod. Arodent of mass 4.8kg hangs from its tail on the rod at some pointin middle of the two horses.
A) Normal force at left end horse exerts on the end of the rod is16 N. Figure out the distance "x" between the rodent and the leftend of the rod.
B) Suppose an eagle of mass 3.6kg gently alights on the right mostend of the rod. What is the net torque on the rod the instant afterthe eagle lands?
C) Fiure out the angular acceleration of the rod the instant afterthe eagle lands.
