I put a text view in the container view. I then configured the appearance of it in IB. I can use the font field to configure the size of the text displayed in the canvas. I think this font information is archived into the storyboard file. Because if I did not change the content text in the runtime, the font size in the simulator is same as in IB. I captured screenshots, see picture1 and picture2 below.

But when I changed the content text of the text view in the runtime, in the viewDidLoad method of the view controller, the font size changed back to the default size. It seems when I changed the content text of the text view, the font information stored in the storyboard file is gone, see picture3 below. Here is the code I use to change the content of the text view:

I have to reconfigure the font in the runtime if I want to use a specific font. Like this:

Did u notice the T symbol in the right croner of font tab use this for set the font size . change that.
