Question
Please solve first part due tomorrow A motorbike rider drives off an inclined ramp at an intialspeed of 15m/s at an angle of 30o from horizontal and aninitial height of 1m. Calculate the time he is in the air, thehorizontal distance R he travels and his velocity on impact withthe ground (you may leave the velocity expressed as vectorcomponents in x and y directions. (Using matlab or other software plot the trajectory. Considera reasonably large number of time steps from t=0 until the bikelands. Calculate the horizontal and vertical positions at each stepand plot x vs y. I cannot get to matlab at school it is closed for the snow andice, if anyone knows a program I can use at home I would appreciateit. You can create a series of points in excel... just create acolumn of time values: 0, 0.01, 0.02,etc increasing by 1/100 of a second at each step. Youcan then create two adjacent columns: x position and yposition, which are calculated from the time column.
.
Excel can make all the calculations in an instant... then youcan create a graph of y vs x and plot thetwo columns. Voila!
