A Calculate the magnitude of the force, in newtons, exerted on the wall assuming the water's horizontal momentum is reduced to zero upon impact F= Grade Summary 0% 100% Potential sinO coso cotan)si acosO atan) acotan) sinhO cosh) tanhcotanh( @degrees Radians Submissions Attempts remaining 10 (2% per attempt) detailed view 4 5 6 0 Subenit Hint I give up Hints: 0% action per hat Hants remaning- Feedback: deduction per feedback Submission History Answer Hints Feedback Totals Totals 0% 0% 0% 0Explanation / Answer
Solution:
Using F = m(v-u) / t where v = final velocity , u = initial velocity , t = time
Now substituting the values,
F = 50.5 ( 0 - 44) / 1
F = -2222 N
As the force will we equal and opposite in this case we can neglect negative sign ,
so F = 2222 N
