Two of the masses, A and E, have no direction shown but it is a fact that it will move vertically downwards due to gravity. They are just left there so they move downwards.

The balls A, B, C are shown to fall from the same vertical height and have the same mass, so the lose the same amount of PE, since PE depends on mass and vertical height only.

For E, it will be twice since its mass is twice.

The information which is insufficient is for D because we don’t know how high it is going to reach.
