Advertising is a type of marketing bustle. The food and beverage industry, in recent years, has viewed children as a chief market force. This makes now the children as the target of strong and specific food marketing and advertising efforts. The food industries are insisted to do so because children have high spending power and purchasing influence, and also they are the future adult consumers for food industries. Their increased behavior increases the childhood obesity epidemic which is a serious public fitness problem. This leads to increases morbidity, mortality, and has considerable long term social and economic costs.

Distinguish between ads: Good promotional food messages should info the children about the requisite amount of calories: these calories should not be exceeded to enhance the taste of food. The advertisements should include the valuable nutrients and follow the guidelines akin to "Go for 2 & 5". Bad advertisements include attractive food color, high calories diet, food price, attractive children activities with their habits and also emotional messages. They use emotional messages like mothering care food, should be provided to children and particularize the use of a product to show its superiority for children amongst their peers. They have high tendency to attract children for indulging in bad food eating behaviors.

The tactics the industries used: The following techniques and channels are used to make children as brand-builder and influencer food product procure behavior: food marketing channels like in-school marketing, television advertising, product placements, the Internet, kids clubs, toys and products by way of brand logos, and children -targeted promotions, such as tie-ins and cross-selling. The techniques the industries are used such as their products are in high sugar and fat contents with ensuring to break the national and international dietary recommendations.
