Question
I need to find the relationship between the half-powerfrequency and the time constant ( = R*C). I tried solving this problem using the followingconcepts: (Half-power frequency) = 0 ±(Bandwidth) 0 = 1 / (L*C) (Bandwidth) = 0 / (Quality orSelectivity) (Quality or Selectivity) = (1/R) * (L/C) Using those formulae did not result in the anysignificant simplifications. I think I am doing somethingwrong. It's possible that the formulae above are for aspecific circuit and I mistakenly took them as general rules. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The time constant is given by RC= and the half-powerfrequency is Fb=1/(2RC). Thus, we have1/(2).
