Question

Could you please explain the solution of the problem in the title? I'm trying to understand its solution on here and from the solution manual that I already have, but I have a few questions. Where and how did they get the drag and gravitational forces (I can't find those two equations in the textbook)? Above all, where and how did they get v = 21 m/s (which is changed to 2.1 m/s after) from figure 7.8, which has labeled only Cd and Red = VD/v ? How did they get Cd, Red? Where are the Heisler charts used for Fo? Let me know if you need anymore details of the problem, thanks!
