Hi! I need some help with this physics question, any that you can contribute would be great :)

Monochromatic light illuminates a narrow slit which is 4.0m from a screen. Two very narrow parallel slits 0.5 mm apart are placed halfway between the single slit and the screen so that interference fringes are obtained.
a. If the distance between five bright fringes is 10 mm calculate the wavelength of the light
b. What will be the effect on the fringes of i. halving the distance between the double slit and the screen, ii. halving the slit separation, iii. covering one of the double slits, iv. using white light.

Two narrow slits are seperated by the distance is d = 0.5 *10^-3 m a)   If the distance between five bright fringes is y = 10 mm then the wavelength is            = ( 10*10^-3 m)( 0.5*10^-3 m) / ( 4 ) ( 2.0m)                = 0.625*10^-6 m b) The fringe seperation will be halved c) The fringe seperation is doubled d) covering one of the double slits, The interference pattern will be lost e) using white light the center fringe will remain white
