Imagine that you are a manager of a small coffee shop. Your business was doing great till a few months ago when suddenly you had a huge drop in sales. You have noticed that students who comprised a big part of your customers stopped coming to the stores as much as they used, although local residents and the elderly still did. You do not know what is happening and why the students stopped visiting your coffee shop.

Explanation / Answer

1.Unplanned change.The problem may arise at the near college or within the college.If there are canteens and mess for the students which are serving better than we are serving.The cost maybe lesser compare to my shop or the new variety of tastes making students to attract more towards the new shops.And may be chances of having vacation for students.

2.For less marketing primarily we should exactly understand the exact problem.above we just assume what are the causes may be.But to do exact prevention of loss we should go through some theoritical and practical researches and come to most reliable desciion for future proceedings towards increase in no of students.

3.primarily posing some questions to students that why they are not coming to the shop.observe the tastes of students and activities and come to some conclusions based on observations.Surveys that are held by some experts should carry to record the situation and analyse the situation.Taking experts advices.data needed here is the age group and their favourite food,how often they want to drink cofee,What type of flavours they like,What is the cost of cofee that is most economical.The distance from the universities,dorms to the cofee shop.Is they are health conscious if they are what they prefer over cofee.Etc
