Fred's ball and Barney's ball are scaled down versions of Betty's ball and Wilma's ball respectively. They all place their bowling balls on the same pitch incline and release them from rest at the same time.


1. The time it takes for Wilma's ball to hit the pins is .... that for Barney's ball to hit.

2. The time it takes for Barney's ball to hit the pins is .... that for Fred's ball to hit.


3. The time it takes for Wilma's ball to hit the pins is .... that for Betty's ball to hit.

Fred's ball has more mass compared to barney's ball which is hollow... so it has more inertia...

the inertia values...

Wilma's ball is small than Fred's ball so inertia of wilma will be less than Fred but since it is not hollow it will be greater than Barney...

Betty's ball is hollow as well as small so it will have very less inertia...

F > W > B > Be

and if inertia is more time will be more..
