a) eq. res = 40 + 20 = 60 ohms

b) I = V/R = 120/60 = 2 A

c)eq. res for parallel = 20*40/(20+40) = 13.33 ohms

d) current through source = V/R(equivalent) = 120/(13.33) = 9 Amp

current through radio = V/R(radio) = 120/(40) = 3 Amp

current through clock = V/R(clock) = 120/20 = 6 Amp

e) power supplied total = V*I(total) = 120 * 9 = 1080 Watt

power for radio = V*I(radio) = 120*3 = 360 Watt

power for clock = V*I (clock) = 120 * 6 = 720 Watt
