I just signed up for a free trial and then $6.95 per month for solutions help for ISBN 978-0-47058723-2. I received an email for an "amount" of $74.95 starting 2/16/13 for "annual homework help subscription." Subtotal, Sales Tax, and Total all zeros. So, I assume you will start charging my credit card starting 2/16/13 but what will you charge me??? Wil Chegg charge by the month or for the entire year? If Chegg charges me for the entire year (I assume $74.95) and I cancel in May, will I get a prorata refund for the unused portion of my subscription? I only need this solutions help for one class for this semest until mid-May 2013.

Explanation / Answer

You have accidentally applied for the annual pack instead of monthly pack. You still have the option to cancel the free trial as well as the annual scheme. In case you continue with it and cancel it out in May, you will not get any refund at all
