Heres my idea. Since the recession alot of companies like toy r us for example are doing price match. that is, if the customer wishes to purchase an item in the store but its sold at a cheaper price in another store,(like walmart), toy r us will then reduce the price on that item to match the one sold at walmart. the customer saves, but ive always wondered how this affects the companies profit margin.
