Kulp) 1.1a) Which of the above locations would best be characterized as having a narrow coastal zone? Justify your answer 1.1b) Identify one process that is affecting both of the shorelines Hint: why is the water white at the shoreline in each image) 1.1c) Explain whether there appears to be any differences in the composition of material at each of the shorelines? 1.1d) Which of the above shorelines suggests that there is a nearby sediment source that consists of sand?Explanation / Answer
1.1) a) The location which is shown below is having the narrow coastal zone it is because to the fact that in the location below it have a side range of water bodies to the both the side but in case of the above location the water body is very low to the location aa well as it is not a narrow area.
1.1) b) The whiteness of the water is common in both the case and it is because to the fact of present of salt of different compound in the water. in the both locations the water is affected by the presence of salt of calcium and magenesium and may be other heavey earth metal compounds. this is commonly affected both the regions.
1.1) c) Yes in both the shore lines it have differences in it compositions as in the first region/locations the most part it of rocky compositions and have more earth metal as well as rare earth metal compounds on the other hand in the second lcation the region is surrounded by the silicon and sand. in that sand it have compositions of light elements.
1.1) d) Oviously it is the region second as it is very clearly seen in the images that the region second have the nearby sediments source tha consist of sand and silicon.
