In the earlier post I made an error in one of theequations.
In chapter 3 Review (3R) problem 10, how is it that you gofrom m3+3m2+m+1=0 to m2(m+3)3m+1=0in step 2?? If I were to expand this I'm sure most of uswould get 3m^4+ 9m^3+1=0, right? Or has something changed in theuniverse while I was asleep? The step following that makes no senseeither. In any event, could someone please help me expand mynarrow horizons and elaborate on this a little.

DEFINITELY TYPO OR A SLIP
IT SHOULD BE m2(m+3) +m+1=0
If I were to expand this I'm sure most of us would get 3m^4+9m^3+1=0, right?
