Please visit the UN Atlas of Our Changing Environment website to read about an irrigation project in Al Isawiyah, Al Jowf, Saudi Arabia (30°02'47.8"N 38°19'59.9"E) and click on any of the place name links to view the irrigation system in Google Map. You can also click on the Al Isawiyah.kml file you download to explore the area in Google Earth (if installed in the computer) from a regional context or from the physical geography perspective.

Irrigation project refers that arrange the water for the agricultural field through the water storage or divergence of the river water. This all process is cunducted by human , we having a another example of irrigation project, which is situated in Al Isawiyah, Al Jowf, Saudi Arabia. we have to evaluate the impact on the environment and climate by this human activity.
size of the irrigation project is depend on the requirement of water and size of the agricultural field. irrigation project is not a natural phenomena, when we are making irrigation system that time we are disturbing natural conditions. we are changed river flow for benefit of us. Due to the change of this flow direction, biodiversity of river has been disturbed . Because of this change climate is also affect ,due to the change in the evaporation process.
other impact of the irrigation on the environment is ---
