What would you have to get on the final in order to get a 70%, an 80% and a 90% overall weighted average. (a)Weightages are missing so we will consider all the weights as same.

This is equivalent of having no weights at all or taking the simple average.

85%+88%+77%+93%+91% = 86.8% = 87%

70%*6 = 85%+88%+77%+93%+91% + x

x = -14% (not possible)

so lowest you can get is by getting x = 0, which is 72.33%

so lowest you can get is by getting x = 100, which is 89%

so 90% overall is also not possible.

now for 80%

80%*6 = 85%+88%+77%+93%+91% + x

x = 46%
