=> Total number of possible outcomes for the four steps
= 4*3*2*2
= 48.
b. One can only choose one dealership at a time.
The first has 4 outcomes, the second has 3 and the third and the fourth have 2 each.
Total number of outcomes
= 4 + 3 + 2 + 2
= 11.
